Meet Penelope

In 1994, Penelope graduated from the University of Virginia - Wise with a double major in Business Administration and Elementary Education. In 1995, she moved to the Knoxville, TN area to pursue her life-long dream as an educator. She taught a variety of grades and subjects between birth and adulthood while obtaining a Masters Degree, an Education Specialist Degree, and a Doctorate Degree in Education. After 23 years of teaching, Penelope felt the desire to expand her teaching skills outside the classroom. She truly believes in Maya Angelou's famous quote, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." As a believer that people must be life-long learners, Penelope takes pleasure in building relationships and helping people learn.
